Initial Summary:
Firefighter Beyer participated in a two-hour auto-extrication training exercise at the fire department on 09/21/2006. He went home after the training and subsequently collapsed. He was transported to the hospital in full cardiac arrest but was successfully resuscitated. He succumbed to his injuries on 09/22/2006. Cause of death is pending results of the autopsy.
