    Question WTC photo

I found a picture online taken during the evacuation of the WTC. It shows a young fireman going up the stairs as everyone else is going down and out. This young fireman has a #28 on his helmet. Does anyone know if there is a way to find out his name? if you would like to see this pic you can email me and I will send it to you. I would like to get a memorial bracelet with this young man's name on it if he did'nt survive that day. I have found this picture to be the most haunting picture I have seen taken that day. I have made this the wallpaper and screensaver on both my pc's and everytime I look into this determined young man's eyes I say a prayer for him, his family and for all the others from that day.

    I'm pretty sure he did.

His name escapes me (sorry bro), but I believe he is ok.

I could be wrong though.... I can't recall much lately as I'm focusing on getting more shirts for the site.

    Thumbs up wtc photo

I am sorry I should have posted this update sooner. Through some detective work on my part I find and email address for someone that worked with engine-28 and was told that everyone that was in the WTC from engine-28 got out of the building and that is particular firefighter is alive and well. But however the truck that was with E-28 wasn't as lucky they lost everyone of their men that responded that day.

    Dear Sandy
If you buy the book Reports From Ground Zero By Dennis Smith, you will see that same picture. He did make it. The tears will fall for all the ones who didnt make it when you read the book.

    Portia,

that picture is on the board here somewhere. I bet if you did a search for 'stairwell' or 'stairway', or perhaps better yet, search for 'kehoe'

    or.....

reading THIS post, I see I already put a link to the picture here
