Tommy was a sweetheart of a man, always willing to help anyone out with a problem. Especially when it came to train us on the new computers at Worcester Fire Headquarters.. One thing us old Firefighter's hated to learn was this New Age stuff. But Tommy just kept teaching us over & over, till we got it or half of it.
As you can see today, I'm stuck on my computer day in and out... What did you do to us Tommy... Tommy loved to hear Opera, so I brought him in about 100 opera magazines and I became a friend & brother too him for life. When he was on vacation to the Grand Canyon with his family, the gang at Fire Headquarters Group 2 told him to make sure you look up Donahue in Surprise Arizona. To which he did by telephone,as he was boarding the plane back to Massachusetts. The conversation went like this:
Hi Neil ,the boys said to look you up while were here in Arizona, nice talking to you ,gotta get on the plane, talk to you later when we get home. I think he was out of vacation money and didnt want anybody to know. We will all miss you Tommy, say hi to the boys for us. Till we meet again,my Brother
