Joseph Angelini Jr. followed his father into the Fire Department, and both died heroes on Sept. 11.

Now the 38-year-old son's remains have been identified and the family will finally be able to hold a second tragic funeral.

Joseph Jr.'s remains were recovered Tuesday when crews pulled 11 firefighters from the debris of the south tower. He was a member of Ladder 4, which lost 15 men.

The body of Joseph Sr., 63, a firefighter with Rescue 1, was found a week after the terror attack.

"He was such a quietly heroic man, and the son imitated him to a 'T,' " said the Rev. Edward Seagriff of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lindenhurst, L.I., where the son's funeral will be held.

"You could not find nobler, humbler people. This is what makes America America, people like this."
