I recently read the book 'Report from Ground Zero' and was so touched by what I read, that I spent most of the time crying. I read of the things that the news would not tell me but I felt that I needed to know.
However, it was when I read the Eulogy for Peter Vega that was given by his brother, that moved me the most.
Why? Because he said that his brother still had the 2 Star Wars films to watch. I am an absolute Star Wars fan and I work for a company that printed the film for the local cinemas. The day before it was released, we had a sneak peak at the film and I spent the entire time thinking of Peter Vega and the other firefighters lost on 911. I know that he wasn't in there with me watching it, or anything like that. But I felt that if everyone was reminded of someone lost on that day, we will never truly loose these men & women. I never met Peter Vega, but I believe that he was a great man who had good taste in movies......
