Fireman John Downing's (Ladder 163, who gave the ultimate sacrifice on Father's Day 2001) son, Michael Downing is in need of help. He is 3 years old and has just been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. Michael is in need of whole blood and platelets. He can receive ANY type of blood for Platelet donation. His blood type is A Positive. He can receive A+, A-, and O+ whole blood donations. This is going to be an ongoing process for many months, so your ongoing support is greatly appreciated.
