Ranger, Texas Firefighter Dies in Class

Shaun Espinoza, 29, died December 13, while attending his EMT training class.

He was suddenly stricken with an apparent massive heart attack.

His class and local EMS services and hospital worked vigorously with hopes to save him.

Espinoza had completed his probationary period as a rookie firefighter and was looking forward to serving his community as an EMT basic.

His memorial was held December 17 at Edward's Funeral home in Ranger, with burial in Gorman.

He leaves behind his wife and two children
