Initial Summary:
Firefighter Arnold had been working on his D5H fire control tractor in preparation for the annual pre-fire season equipment inspection. Arnold took a lunch break and while returning to his shop had stopped by a parts store and to pick up maintenance materials for the equipment. Arnold was discovered slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle by a co-worker who had been inside the parts store. Emergency medical assistance efforts were unable to save Firefighter Arnold and he was pronounced at the hospital.
