My Husband My Hero
I was once told
That fireman is just a name But then I met my husband And I asked him to explain He said the adrenaline And the fear Go hand in hand When I put on my gear He tries not to think about THe tears and the sorrow Because someone could be distraught By this time tomorrow Everytime I hear That now familiar beep I must be strong While inside i weep When he leaves my side Fear set at zero All I can think Is my husband my hero. This is dedicated to my husband Lt. Jason M. Rahn and all the countless firefighters who save millions of lives each and every year.
